Cat Food
As every cat owner knows, it's just a waste of time and effort trying to stop them sitting on the kitchen worktop, table or sink drainer. If you lift them down and shout NO!, it just adds to the fun as they jump back up.
If you really want them to vanish, reach for the plant sprayer. Otherwise, you just have to live with it and keep some kitchen towel and bleach handy.
